How can I see my wireless network password on PC/laptop?

Many visitors of my website have asked me “how can I see my saved wireless network password on my PC/laptop?” I am sure many of you who have laptop, used some wireless networks elsewhere e.g. a friend house.A case: I set up wireless password for my router a while ago, now I forgot the password, how can I see/recover the password (Please do not tell me to reset the router because I already know). Let’s see how; I am assuming that you know how to go “Control Panel” on Windows7, from there go to “Network and Internet” (follow steps below)View network status and tasks
Manage wireless networks

Now you see history of all wireless networks which you connected before, “right click” on the network you want to know the password, then choose “Properties”
Now tick “Show characters

Here is the password
This is for windows7, if you have any questions regarding this post or you have similar queries, just drop me a message.

Enemy and friend quotes

I picked some ”enemy & friend quotes” from the internet regarding my experience particularly with my university life and friends. A wise enemy is better than a foolish friend. Choose your friends carefully. Your enemies will choose you. One enemy can do more hurt than ten friends can do good. If you want to make enemies, try to change something. You shall judge a man by his enemies as well as by his friends. The man who is swimming against the stream knows the strength of it. Treat your friend as if he might become an enemy. A wise man gets more use from his enemies than a fool from his friends. When there is no enemy within, the enemies outside cannot hurt you. Your closest friend can be your weakness, power, or, in some cases, your worst enemy. Just because you can spell enemy’s’ name, doesn’t mean you know your enemy. Jealousy is a terrible thing…hating me won’t make you pretty! Love your enemies- it gets them really confused. Always forgive your enemies; nothin…

2147483647 and my experience

I finished a project with a large database without any difficulty even when I tested I didn’t find any things hard to do or hard to understand. One day the client called me and asked me to check telephone field for a tables, apparently there was a problem with updating telephone field in the database. I checked and found that sometimes when I try to update the telephone number in return instead of saving the entered number it will saving another number (2147483647), I checked again and again and noticed that always it save the same number although I tried different numbers but same number in the database. I started for solve this problem by clearing all sessions and double checking my PHP and MySQL code but still same error. I remembered one of lecturer who was so cool but when someone asks a question almost definite he would reply “ask Dr. google”. I am sure he never read this post as once I sent him a link he didn’t click on that link, basically he never read such posts, I gues…

Logic and Reasoning in AI + programming

After I finished any undertaken work, I always ask myself; “what did I learn? What was the main point about this?” for example about university, end of this year I asked myself what did I learn from my second year in university? And specific about a module which is our main subject “Formal aspect of computer science” ( with Professor Lee McCluskey. Although I know that I learnt a lot from this module and I almost understand all subjects in this module, but it’s hard to show because all are formula and mathematical, here we are talking about “First Order Logic”, “Clausal Form and Unification”, “Resolution and the Refutation Method”, “Algebraic Specifications” and etc.. A few weeks back, while I was programming I found some logic which seems to be hard, it was a page which only user and admin could access that page. If I need to allow all user access that page, I could write something like this; by assuming I know $user from the session $user…

Youtube view count fails

You may notice on that sometime number of who liked a video is more than number of view the video, check this photo. It’s been while now but still this problem exists.
There is a debate out there which saying that youtube is censoring the view’s count, but I personally don’t believe that because I noticed sometime from 100 view jumped to 1000,000 views. I guess youtube view count frozen sometimes.
Update: 2011-07-27
This is an update from youtube: From July 11th to July 18th, YouTube viewcounts have not been consistently updating for many videos. Please be assured that any views not currently updated are still being recorded. We are working to resolve this issue. Read more here

Lie and Truth quotes

"I'm not upset that you lied to me, I'm upset that from now on I can't believe you" Friedrich Nietzsche "The worst lies are the lies we tell ourselves. We live in denial of what we do, even what we think. We do this because we're afraid. We fear we will not find love, and when we find it we fear we'll lose it. We fear that if we do not have love we will be unhappy." Richard Bach "A single lie destroys a whole reputation for integrity" Baltasar Gracian If you tell the truth you don't have to remember anything. Mark Twain Who lies for you will lie against you. Bosnian Proverb Honesty is the first chapter of the book of wisdom. Thomas Jeffersonsource: internet

Online Base Converter

In my spare time I usually do programming and write algorithms, basically after a long working day when I want to relax I enjoy writing algorithms. For example today I was bored, so I wrote codes for base conversion; actually this is very similar to one of my Maths assignment question in university. It may not perfect but I made it within a few hours using PHP. I never used any third party codes because whatever you see in this website, it is for my educational purpose only. Please comment it here if you have any queries, the algorithms is available on request

PHP Online quiz fail

We had a php test last week and as I am quite good at PHP so I didn’t revise for this test, a few minute before test start, one of my classmates asked me a php question: What can you use to replace like with hate in I like Eminem? I answered preg_replace("/like/", "hate", "I like Eminem") He showed me this website and said you are wrong, I couldn’t believe that I am wrong. Anyway test started surprise! This was one of the questions and I answered the way this website told which later when I checked, it was wrong. I became upset because I didn’t trust my knowledge, if I never knew the answer I wouldn’t be upset because I didn’t have the knowledge. Hope they fix this mistake soon. I made a php quiz online, please report any error you may find.

Draw American flag in C programming language

I wrote a program in C language which draw American flag.
Run here
You can request for source code. It is some lines of code and I used very basic methods and functions. I know that picture is not exactly look like the flag, but it is very similar. If you have any suggestions, please comment it here.

First step of answering a question

I think everyone knows that for answering a question, the first step is to understand the question. It is not a big deal, but how important is this step? For a student this matter is quite clear and for who dealing with algorithms much more. I remember one day my teacher asked us to solve a maths exercise, I didn’t understand the question so I asked teacher to explain the question and she explained after she asked us, Did you get it? Everyone replied “No”, She explained again, I didn’t get it, my classmate next to me said “yes, I got it”, so I asked my classmate to explain it for me, surprise! He didn’t understand it, the reason he said was maybe he doesn’t want to look stupid. Ok, I asked teacher for third time and this time I got the question so the answer was so easy, I asked my classmate who previously said that he understand the question, did you get it now? He said “No”. After teacher left our desk, I explained it for my classmate and straight away he told the answer. O…
